The South Lansing Business Association acts as a catalyst for physical, social, and economic improvements to south Lansing.

• The association meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, and hosts luncheon speakers who address topics of interest to the south Lansing community.
• The SLBA publishes regular email updates with Association updates, member news and community information.
• In the spring of each year, the Association sponsors a Business and Community Service Person of the Year Reception.
• We also sponsor at least one member mixer per year for our members and guests.
• SLBA supports local non-profit organizations with funds for projects and collection drives for items to support a variety of causes.
• We coordinate a Team Up 2 Clean Up event in the spring and fall to beautify southwest Lansing.
• The SLBA presents a monthly Beautification Award to businesses that "Take Pride in the South Side" by maintaining/enhancing their property or providing an invaluable service to south Lansing.
• The SLBA representatives sit on numerous city committees focused on improving the south side.
